Last week, BCCA celebrated an important step forward in its commitment to sustainability. During a meeting held at BCCA, Gerjan Heylen, together with Hans Verhasselt from Kawneer Benelux, officially presented the “Sustainable Joinery – Supplier” certificate.
Kawneer thus becomes the new supplier of aluminium systems for exterior joinery to earn this certification. This marks a significant milestone, highlighting their clear and concrete commitment to sustainability within the sector.
Through this recognition, BCCA emphasises the value of independent and objective certification, making sustainability tangible, measurable, and transparent. It is encouraging to see a growing number of system suppliers fully embracing their responsibility and engaging in ambitious, high‑quality and future‑oriented initiatives.
We now look forward to awarding additional “Supplier” certificates in the near future.
